UbuntuKylin 13.10 Beta Final version released simultaneously with Ubunta on September 27,2013 Beijing time. By comparison to 13.04 version, the Beta Final version updated the Linux kernel to 3.11-RC8 and customized new Grub startup, slides and boot animation. It also added numerous of functions such as ubuntukylin Wallpaper Pack, Youke Assistant, Kingsoft disk Alpha version, Chinese image search, Chinese video search and fcitx input panel etc, and upgraded the software of Chinese lunar calendar, plug-in of Chinese weather, Chinese music search and wps for UbuntuKylin.
